I love Book of Love! "Boy" and "I Touch Roses" are both beautiful songs. they do kind of sound like a more accessible Cocteau Twins. you used to live in Ft. Worth? neat-o! it has a very odd vintage feel to it. Dallas is nice too. Denton's a neat place overall though. I don't think you ever told me you know somebody who lives here? Wow, I've probably seen whoever it is.

really?! wow! I didn't know I was held in such high regard. Camille was telling me about how there was someone that looked like me the other day...apparently I have quite a few doppelgangers floating around Hilo. hmm. But anyways, thank you! It's funny because usually I'll mention some random band to Camille and she'll sometimes remark something along the lines of "oh, Cherdan likes them", which is interesting. as far as AIM goes, mine is smittyc106. it's old, don't ask plz. :)

haha sure, aim is freezethesaints. possum kingdom has always been great, i remember hearing it all the time on the radio and being both freaked out/incredibly intrigued. it's very catchy but the "do you wanna die?!?!" thing is so fucking awesome.

i do it so often that sometimes i go to a page to make a shout and find that i've already done it like two years ago. it's also slightly embarrassing when it's something like "BEST SONG EVER" haha or something, but whatever.

About Me

Student, Singer, Former Pianist and Accomplished Handbell Player, Kate Bush Karaoke Enthusiast, Sometimes Writer, Snarky Commentator. Other equally pretentious things will go here as I acquire the necessary skill to succeed in these "fields."

I own around 672 albums, on CD, cassette and vinyl, so only my CD collection on my iPod is scrobbled here. And not even all my CDs fit on it, so, yeah, only my cat really knows the true extent of my musical taste.

If Ivo Watts-Russell made it out to Hawaii on holiday and fathered a Hawaiian love child, that'd be me. (That will explain the tan and intense hatred for reggae.)
