Mint Julep!!!! I'm curious....something tells me they're a shoegaze band or ambiant??? I'm guessing it's something I would love since I basically like the same music you do. I'm gonna investigate them further more when I'm more awake. But can you tell me if they have a cd out?

Part 2. lol But the nice thing is that I'm not doing a damn thing for the New Year's and I am so glad about that. Me and my girl are gonna relax. But other than that I'm still loving GHWT...playing the drums all the time, I'm now at difficult level and it's like a sport because it feels like I'm training and sweating like a pig. haha Did I get any good music for Christmas? Oh yes, my mother actually bought me the Jesus and Mary Chain boxset and it's so awesome. She went to see my friend who works at HMV and asked him what he thought she should buy me for Xmas so he helped her out. Great gift if you ask me. Know that I also think of you, you're truly fantastic Lisa. We don't get to exchange together as much as we'd like to but we always end up writing to one another at some point. I should sign on facebook...but I'm too lazy to do it. :P

Hey Lisa! It's so nice to hear from you, as always. ;) December is always an hectic month, I can't wait for it to end but Xmas was nice but since I got a flu shot on the 23rd and had some reactions to the vaccine I didn't feel too festive (seems like I had the flu within a few hours of getting the vaccine...fever, aching bones...) but still Xmas was enjoyable. Giving presents to my niece was lots of fun, nothing beats the expressions on a child's face when they like something they get. And my mother's health was pretty bad for a few months but the new medication seems to help a bit so she got to feel better just in time for the Holidays so that made my Xmas really. Congrats girl, I knew you'd get the job. You know what, seems all I did this month was related to the Holidays and medical clinics. Seriously it was all about my mom's health and getting ready for the Holidays.

Hey you're probably not gonna see this shout in time but Merry Christmas Lisa. Enjoy the Holidays with your loved ones. Hugs to you my friend. ;)

I also need to send you two shouts, too much stuff to write. haha Your brother has guitar hero? Cool, it's so much fun. Is it the Guitar Hero World Tour? That one has the drum kit, I'm addicted to it...I started playing drums at the medium level and I've never got booed (you'll know what I mean when you play it) well I did once but only because my girl was playing guitar while I was playing drum and her music meter was red while mine was green but we didn't have star power so she got me booed. lol Hey good luck with the job interview, I'm sure it will be yours. Keep me posted. ;) Enjoy yourself my friend, have a good day. ;)

Hello dear friend, it's always a pleasure to hear from you. ;) You know, I may be done with the Xmas shopping but I still haven't done much when it comes to baking stuff, cooking....I'm so so behind but my mom's health wasn't that good lately so I wasn't really in the mood for any of it, maybe now I can focus on the Holidays a bit more (my mom's health is now under control, they medicated her so much that it might help her with the lung problems but I'm sure it's gonna create another problem in the long run) so today I'm doing two things:bake some Xmas cookies and then drive out of town and go cd shopping, just buy something for myself.I just hope I find something else than a Xmas cd.:P

Just passing by, checking what you've been listening to (there's definitely always some bands I've never heard of that end up on your recently listened tracks) and to say hello to you my friend. Hope you have a great week. How's everything dear Lisa?

It's always nice to hear from you my friend, I'm glad you got over that nasty cold you had. Things are good but these days all I can think about is 'Guitar Hero World Tour', I tried the drums again yesterday at my friends and now I'm just wondering if I should buy Rock Band or GH World Tour. I'm such a kid. hehe About the Lanegan/Campbell cd, well I kinda like a few songs VERY much (Who Built The Road, Come On Over Turn Me On) but it's not the same as listening to a good solo Lanegan album. But it's an ok album though. I do agree though, her voice is very sweet, that's kinda why I never was a huge 'Belle and Sebastian' fan. Joy Division!!! I adore them but I never had the chance to see the movie 'Control' although I do recall reading about it somewhere. I'm gonna check to see if we can rent the movie (it's out on dvd, right?) because I'd definitely love to watch it.

Hello there friend! I'm so beat today, I have this headache that's driving me insane. I hate feeling this way but I'm doing good though. You have one of those nasty head colds...it's a good thing you can relax and take it easy for a while. So many people have had the cold or the flu lately and winter has just barely started. It's gonna be a looong winter. No online shopping for me though, I didn't know what to get for my mom so I needed to go shopping and see if there was anything I liked. But I bought a videogame (Mario Kart -Wii) for my niece and today I received this special offer 'buy one videogame get one free' at the same store I bought the game so I guess I'm gonna have to go back there heh and it's gonna be crazy this weekend in the stores. yikes. Anything new musicwise? Yep...Jorane (she's from Québec, she plays cello and sometimes sings), also bought a Isobel Campbell/Mark Lanegan cd (just because of him :p) and I bought some used cds (Curve). What about you?

Just passing by to wish you a fantastic week. I did all my Xmas shopping so I don't have to wait in line for hours when there are millions of people shopping. What a great feeling. haha
