Led by Murray Torkildsen, the band's singer songwriter, the group achieved some success and in 1996 were featured in John Peel's Festive Fifty. They formed in 1995 and released their debut single "Shut Up" in November of that year. Three albums followed; Pop Gun!, Bingo and The Sweeney.
