“Here’s Where the Story Ends” is a single by the music group The Sundays. It was released on their album Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. During the song, it tells that somebody is getting “the little souvenir” of “the terrible year”.

Although it was the Sundays’ biggest hit internationally, the track was never released as a single in the group’s native United Kingdom due to the collapse of the Rough Trade Records label.

Many artists have covered this song, such as a UK Top Ten Single by Tin Tin Out.
