The Strangeloves were a songwriting/production team in the 1960's whose biggest hits were "I Want Candy," "Night Time" and "Cara-Lin." Bob Feldman, Jerry Goldstein and Richard Gottehrer had already scored big hits for other artists with "Hang on Sloopy" and "My Boyfriend's Back," when they decided to invent the Strangeloves.
