The Death of Music was a metal band formed in Orpington, Kent in its current incarnation in late 2012, but is currently based in Canterbury and consisting of Philip Whitehead (vocals, guitar), Adam Rhodes (bass guitar), Henry Evans (drums) and Tanis Izli (guitar, vocals). The foundations of the band were first laid down in late 2011 when James Carty and Philip Whitehead performed a set together at their school's music night, with Jamie McGuire on drums.
