Alan Parsons has an extensive production background, working on, among many other projects, Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” album as engineer. He was also on the rooftop with the Beatles for the Apple rooftop sessions.
Eric Woolfson wrote most of the lyrics and Alan Parsons the music. They made so-called ‘concept albums’. The NBA’s Chicago Bulls used the beginning of the Parson’s track “Sirius” as their opening lineup music during the Michael Jordan years.
Alan Parsons is still performing live shows, touring all over the world, but without Eric Woolfson.
Alan Parsons produced both Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd and Abbey Road by the Beatles before going out on his own. He was the only singer to win a Grammy for best vocals, and didn’t sing a single song on I Robot.
Including Alan Parsons, Camel, Genesis, Supertramp, Yes, Asia, Marillion and more…

La Sagrada Familia is one of the best songs ever. Of course, they have lots of other great tracks too... Alan Parsons is a great musician (and not only musician - he was the audio engineer at Abbey Road when Pink Floyd were recording The Dark Side of the Moon).

APP made beautiful music. I have tons of memories of my dad playing them on car rides as a child. When I need to relax or think, this is the first band I put on. :)
