"Not Ethiopia" is an up-tempo track from the live album, "Steps/Smokin' in the Pit", and was written by tenor saxophone player, Michael Brecker. It features superb solos by Brecker, vibraphonist, Mike Maineri, bassist, Eddie Gomez, drummer, Steve Gadd, and pianist, Dave Grolnick. This is live jazz at its best.
