Back to Life was released in 1989 by British R&B band Soul II Soul. It appeared on their debut album Club Classics Vol. One, which was re-titled Keep On Movin' for the U.S. market. The track was released as the album's second single. "Back to Life" was one of two songs on the album featuring British R&B singer Caron Wheeler. The single attained great success in several markets, peaking at #1 on the UK Official Charts and reaching #4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
