Biography
Solutio (Alain Wolffenbuttel, born 14-01-1986 lives in Haren, NL) and The I’s (Barry Stabij, born 10-06-1987, lives in Dalfsen, NL) met each other at music forums in 2005. Not too long after that, they organized a party called Hardsound. This was their first gig together. After a few more gigs they separated and went their own way. Alain focused mostly on hardstyle, while Barry was busy with house/techtrance.
Since the beginning of 2009 they got back together and also started producing together. After spending some time in the studio their first hardstyle track together, called "City of Chaos", was born. This track already got some support from well-known DJ's and was played on some major events like In Qontrol, Q-Base and The Qontinent. After competing and winning the Mythica Remix Contest they knew they were going in the right direction. The Magic Show noticed their unique own style and contacted them to become resident of the biggest hardstyle radio show in the world. Weekly there are over 30.000 listeners at Q-Dance Radio and Dance Tunes radio.
After the release on Mythica Records, they became quite popular with their own characteristic sound which can be described as raw, dark and rough hardstyle. With their own and other energetic rough releases in their record bag they surprised a lot of people. They already played in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Poland and Estonia and performed at huge events like The Qontinent, Q-Base and WiSH Outdoor.
Nowadays Solutio & The I’s signed to TiLLT Records, ready to rock the Hardstyle world with their upcoming releases! Keep an eye out for this duo!
