Shadow of the Season is a song by American alternative rock band Screaming Trees. It is the first track to appear on their 1992 breakthrough album Sweet Oblivion. Despite the commerical success of Nearly Lost You and the moderate success of Dollar Bill, Shadow of the Season failed to gain much traction, especially with Nearly Lost You's bigger success, both in airplay and charting.
