Dutch electronic dance music producer and DJ Sander van Doorn, Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix and Canadian electronic music duo DVBBS wrote and produced the song "Gold Skies", which featured the vocals of Canadian pop singer Aleesia. The song was released as a digital download on June 16, 2014 in the Netherlands and has since charted in Belgium. The song is also included in Garrix's EP, "Gold Skies".
