She was the third wife of the film actor, director, singer, and songwriter Tan Sri P. Ramlee. After her death on 25th April 1983 at Assunta Hospital, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, Saloma was buried in Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetery, Kuala Lumpur next to the grave of her husband, P. Ramlee.
