Finally, some good new music! I think now I've toned down on the metal, last.fm is starting to suggest some music I'm more into. Whoda thunk?

Best find so far would have to be Pepper, been a very long time since I had something this close to new Sublime. Have to wait and see how the rest of their stuff turns out, but loving it so far.

Another two bands are Authority Zero, who also do some very decent ska, and Rise Against, which has been recommended to me a lot. Considering I love 88 Fingers Louie it's no surprise that I like their music ... I just can't get over their apparent idolisation of PETA. I'm a huge animal person, but PETA are just fucked.

I'm trying to find some good psychobilly too, but a lot of it really seems to be uninspired. Guess that's the way with most music these days. Considering how much I love Mad Sin, it's weird how so many bands of the same style just don't interest me.
