It was written by the members of Razorlight and was also released as the second single from that album in October 2006. It became the band's first #1 single in the United Kingdom. The single was the UK's seventeenth best selling single of the year. The song also peaked at #6 in Ireland, #9 in the Netherlands, #10 in New Zealand, #17 in Austria, #21 in Belgium, #22 in France, #29 in Switzerland, and #38 in Germany.
