Written by guitarist and vocalist James Mercer, it concerns his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico and his experiences there in his late 20s.

Porridge Radio is a British DIY music band formed in Brighton in 2015. The band is fronted by vocalist, songwriter and lead guitarist Dana Margolin, who grew up in the Jewish community of North West London. The other members are keyboardist Georgie, bass guitarist Maddie and drummer Sam. Porridge Radio released their debut album 'Rice, Pasta and other fillers' in August 2016 on limited edition cassette and as a free download. Porridge Radio is part of Memorials of Distinction, a Brighton based label.
