"Memory Box" is by far the most pop-oriented song on Bismillah, with swelling violins, a very lively and surprisingly detailed percussion section, a contagious tune, and a fast tempo. This song is about the narrator being “dangled” by strings by someone he has feelings for, wishing for them to “tie him down” so that he can escape the strings that control his life. He tries to convince himself that he hasn’t fallen for this person; denying that his heart “bends” for this “darling” and that he would “escape” if he were to fall for her.
