Biography
This EP is a collaboration between OMAR RODRIGUEZ-LOPEZ of THE MARS VOLTA, and DAMO SUZUKI of the legendary band, CAN. Consisting of a single lengthy track continuing across two sides of a 45 rpm 12", "Please Heat This Eventually" is a 30-minute progressive rock odyssey bridging two generations of sonic envelope-pushing. On this recording, the OMAR RODRIGUEZ-LOPEZ GROUP consists of fellow Volta bandmates Juan Alderete de la Pena, Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez, Adrian Terrazas Gonzalez, as well as Money Mark Ramos-Nishita (of BEASTIE BOYS fame). The record is housed in a full-color LP sleeve and is pressed on colored vinyl.
