The album was released in Japan on December 15, 2007 U.K. and Europe February 25, 2008 with a following U.S. release later on February 5, 2008, merely a week after The Mars Volta's The Bedlam in Goliath under the Nitrous Oxide (N2O) Entertainment label. Omar Alfredo Rodríguez López (born September 1, 1975 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico) is the composer, lead guitarist and producer for the American rock group The Mars Volta, and is the former bassist/guitarist for the post-hardcore outfit At the Drive-In.
