It was originally intended for the Oasis album Don't Believe The Truth, but it never got to a place where Noel could accept it as finished. The song was then recorded for Dig Out Your Soul but Gallagher's brother, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, never laid down the vocals during the sessions in LA. So Noel eventually re-recorded it in a different key for his first solo album to suit his voice.
