Janjgava, Nino (b. July 29, 1964, Tbilisi). Georgian composer of mostly stage, orchestral, chamber, choral, vocal, and film works that have been performed in Asia, Europe and North America. Ms. Janjgava studied composition with Alexei Machavariani, orchestration with Sulkhan Tsintsadze and polyphony with Archil Chimakadze at the Conservatory of Music in Tbilisi, where she graduated in 1988. She then had post-graduated studies in composition with Sulkhan Tsintsadze there from 1988–90.
