G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1 & 2 is the debut studio album by American hip hop recording artist Nate Dogg. The album was originally to be released through Death Row Records in 1996, but the album was shelved due to legal problems at Death Row Records, and he wasn't able to release it until the summer of 1998. The album only managed to make it to number 58 on the Billboard 200 and number 20 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.

Nathaniel Dwayne Hale (born August 19, 1969 in Long Beach, California; died March 15, 2011 in Long Beach, California), better known by his stage name Nate Dogg, was a Grammy-nominated American singer and occasional rapper.
