Really didn't enjoy this album when it came out. Decided to give it another go this year, and have to say - it's excellent. Totally rekindled my love of M&S. I've found that I can't listen to their older stuff anymore, either because I've overplayed it or because they've evolved and so have I. Either way, for artists to pull this off is impressive. If you didn't like this when it came out, give it another go.

This is an incredible album. I get sad when I look at everyone else's comments because nobody seems to understand that the artist can write whatever the artist wants to write, and if we like it then that's just a bonus. From what I've seen, artists that limit themselves to what the fans want, end up becoming boring and falling off the charts. Look at AJR. Every new album is a completely different sound. Mumford has been writing within the same sound genre for years; Maybe they wanted to switch it up. Now to debunk some things: This album isn't the same song over and over again, yes, obviously they all sound somewhat similar, but what album doesn't have its own distinct sound that it follows. And who are you to say this is their worst album? That may be your opinion, but don't ruin it for the rest of us. And the soul is definitely there, you just aren't listening to the lyrics close enough - this album isn't about the instruments.

Mumford are the only band to send me to sleep, stood up . Literally watching their performance at the 2015 I fell asleep stood up. ZZZZ This somehow surpasses that, I could take a couple of of grams and fall asleep FFS Z

Well, this is something...different. Not sure yet if that's a good or a bad thing. I can hear the music, but the soul is gone. However, I do enjoy a few of the songs like Darkness Visible. Even if it sounds more like it should have been the 14th song on The 2nd Law album by Muse.

This week is the first time I listened to Wilder Mind and today is obviously the first time for Delta. Maybe it will grow on me, but it seems like Mumford has lost the energy and special sound (I don't just mean a banjo) that make them unique and fun to listen to. They've morphed into a more boring indie sound. Hopefully it will grow on me with subsequent listens, but I'm not really feeling it.
