Michaela May Wright was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. She was a national swimmer from a young age and at 17 she moved to the United States on a swimming scholarship for Western lllinois University. After completing her Master degree, she decided to pursue a singing career. While spending 3 years in Tampa, Florida she worked with Allon Sams, an acclaimed jazz pianist and an international DJ/Producer in Miami.
