Meghana Bhat is a classically-trained sitar player from Canada. She became hooked on the instrument at the age of ten when she attended a classical Hindustani sitar concert. When she was in University she traveled to India and trained under an Indian master. The only recording to feature her is "An Indocarbonated Funk", a blending of modern beats and styles with classic Indian sounds and her own vocals.
