The band began in the early 90's as Little Guilt Shrine and split in 1998. The foundations were lain with an ex-Goth/Star Wars geek guy named Matt Holland writing a bunch of songs and playing with samplers and banging on steel pipes in a warehouse in Sacramento, CA. He was soon joined by his spazzy brother Britton Holland on drums, and then met this nutburger-eatin alien kung fu tall guy named Dana Gumbiner who played bass, sang, and co-wrote songs.
