King Creosote
On Tour

A popular misconception is that this is the name of the band featuring him and not just his stage name. However, at live shows, he will usually introduce his band members by their similar pseudonyms - some fellow Fence Collective artistes such as “The Pictish Trail” (aka Johnny Lynch), On The Fly and Uncle Beesly, to name but the usual line-up.
There are 4 albums out and about: Kenny and Beth’s Musakal Boat Rides (2003); Rocket D.I.Y. (2005); KC Rules OK (2005) and Bombshell (2007).

if you like your bands Scottish and just a little bit good too then try supporting the up and coming Scottish bands too! try the brilliant The Apple Scruffs from Glasgow and Cancel The Astronauts from edinburgh....both bands are excellent but need your support. let the big boys have a day off and snub what NME tells you is a the next big thing! think for yourself!! you know it makes sense :)

It's probably not a marked improvement, but I scavenged wikipedia and his myspace for some details to make it at least a little more up to date.

I can't be bothered changing it just now, but how can the biography for KC be so old and bad and also say he's unknown outside his coastal village? Fair enough he's probably better known in Fife than anywhere, but the 23,217 listeners here can't all be from Anstruther!

Fortunately for you, I recently caught KC live and so I've been listening to him, and I can convert the song titles to proper case, AND I've done it for the ones I saw.

Also, I really wish I could convert the song titles to proper case. I am a loser :)

feckin brilliant songwroting ,performing- God bless the accordian. First seen him live supporting Belle and Sebastian - blew them out of the water! Can't wait to see him again at the Word Festival in Aberdeen in a month or so . Big up yourself - at least not gone all commercial like 'KT Turnstile' - good for her - but all the same - you is da BOMB!
