Khanh Ly (Vietnamese: Khánh Ly, born Nguyễn Lệ Mai, March 6, 1945) is a Vietnamese singer and columnist. Khánh Ly rose to fame singing the songs of musician, songwriter and composer Trịnh Công Sơn. Two of her songs were used in the 2007 film “Journey from the Fall”. Khánh Ly first public appearance occurred in 1959, in a radio talent search for children sponsored by Saigon Radio. The show was broadcasted throughout Southern Vietnam. Khánh Ly was only 14 years old at the time. During this contest she won second place.
