Kartellen (English: The Cartel) were a Swedish gangsta-rap hip hop group founded in 2008 by Leo "Kinesen" Carmona with Janne "Babyface" Raninen, both serving life sentences in Finland for accessory to murder. The two wrote the lyrics in prison and enlisted the help of their friends on the outside to get their music out.
