It was produced by JoJo and several others, including DeVante Swing, Jon-John Robinson, James Mtume, and Jeff Redd. The duo were originally a part of Jodeci before this album.

In 1992, DeVante formed the Swing Mob, a group of artists, songwriters, and producers that took part in their later albums.
