Jimmy Anderson (Natchez, Mississippi, November 21, 1935), a.ka. "Soul Man Lee" took up the harmonica at age seven. At age 25, Jimmy Anderson went to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he played with his band, The Joy Jumpers. Between 1962 and 1964 he recorded for the Excello label. In 1992, Jimmy Anderson toured Europe with the Mojo Blues Band. Olga Records released his debut album The King of Swamp Blues in 2007.
