If I'm not mistaken, on her DVD about the making of this video Jennifer says not only were they able to use some of the original locations from Flashdance but also a few of the actual COSTUMES. If you go back and look at Michael Sembello's "Maniac" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxOlKvvLXP8) video you can see there is likely some truth to her claims. David LaChapelle did a fantastic job with this video.
