That's my top for '08 so far.I think what should have dropped is already out.There are still 7-8 albums that I need to check out and add.Buut I don't think that the top 10 will change.
So..if you ask me why there's no Nas - it's because I haven't heard Untitled and I don't think to do it.There's no Atmosphere,Vast Aire or Vordul Mega cause I'm not a fan of that kind of Hip Hop.I won't add The Foreign Exchange - Leave It All Behind cause I don't think that this is a Hip Hop album(but is actually still very good).The order of the top 10 could be different, they're all great, I'm 100% sure only for the first four. When I'm rating the albums I'm not listening only to the lyrics and beats but estimating which artist has its own original sound cause there are like 10 albums with the nearly the same production this year.
And I won't add Notorious B.I.G. - Ready To Die(The O.G. Edition) cause it's just not album from this year. Otherwise it should be #1.Same thing with Freddie Foxxx - Crazy Like a Foxxx.By the same reason may be I shouldn't add Siah & Yeshua DapoED and Jean Grae(cause Jeanius is recorded in 2004) but I added them anyway..

Oh, and I shouldn't forgot - other awesome albums from '08 which are not for this top(non Hip Hop).

I think:1-15 is all top quality, 15-22 are still dope, nice things until 32,not-so-good albums from 32 to 39, after 39 are albums that you can miss.

Monade are dead, which also prefaces Stereolab's death (that new single is horrible, ain't it?) and Nick Cave has been dead for years, anyway, no?


What this year needs:

Big Blood albums.
An even more uncompromising Joanna Newsom album.
The return of Broadcast?
The Cherry Blossoms.
A Sun City Girls reformation, somehow.

Patrick the Lama is some kind of music guru, or so I understand. He digged this up, what they describe as "Hunted & collected from one of the world's largest collections of drug music and spoken ritual incantations". Okay.

Mabuki Junko? I give you this: "originally released as a cassette-only by Victor Records back in 1980 as part of their 'Yoru no Driver' series tapes. The series was designed specifically to target the sexually frustrated, long-distance trucker demographic in order to bring them a little erotic aural companionship on those grueling overnight hauls.

Junko appeared on the scene of hardcore bondage and S&M flicks after Tani Naomi had thrown in the towel and with she would be the last of the big screen porn and S&M stars to emerge during Japan's Golden Age of Roman Porno. She was especially great in S&M movies such as 'Showa Erotica – Bara no Kifujin', 'Dan Oniroku – Hakui Nawa-Jigoku' and 'Onna-biyôshi: Nawa-shiiku' and her on screen presence caused Dan Oniroku to dub her as 'if Tani Naomi is the Marilyn Monroe of the SM scene, then Mabuki Junko is its Ingrid Bergman'.

Junko solely recorded at the height of her short-lived career the tape 'Ai no Dorei', which is possibly the most perverted and sexually deranged recording ever to be released. “Ai no Dorei” is built on a lush instrumental carpet of covers of famous enka tunes, upon which Mabuki Junko rolls and writhes, enacting hardcore BDSM fantasies, perversions and degenerate sexual dramas for her lonesome big-rig listeners. The real draw though is Mabuki Junko's aural evocation of the utterly perverse and degenerate sexual actions, as she journeys deep into the depraved depths of hardcore bondage, lesbian S&M, golden showers, torture, suspension bondage, and master-slave relationships."

As for Scarlett, no, that's not her voice. That is not her singing.
