Jay Jay Pistolet is singer-songwriter Justin James Hayward-Young, formerly of the Eldora Parade. Pistolet is from the New Forest, but is now London-based. He has played supporting Noah and the Whale, Slow Club and Katie Melua, and performs either solo or with his backing band (featuring Mumford And Sons singer Marcus Mumford).
He generally plays the guitar, but also ventures out with a mandolin or piano.
The Guardian recently featured him in its New band of the day section.

He released two EPs so far on Chess Club label:
We Are Free and Happy Birthday,
but many more demos are floating the internet.

Just bought the 3 track demo off his myspace, also there was the single out last year on vinyl, with we are free/holly on. First time I saw him play it was by complete chance as he was supporting Holloways in a one off gig in the All Saints shop in Bluewater shopping centre, completely stole the show!
