Punkadelic was originally released in 1984, and was only ten tracks on two sides of vinyl (the remaining tracks on this CD release in 2007 were culled from other sources). The cover was designed by one of the greatest graphic artists of all time, Barney Bubbles (a.k.a. Colin Fulcher) with a nod here towards the German expressionists. Inner City Unit (ICU) is a British Punk/hard edged Space rock band fronted by ex-Hawkwind founder Nik Turner on saxophone with Trev Thoms (guitar), Dead Fred (Keyboards), Baz Magneto (Bass), and Mick Stupp or Dino Ferari on drums.
