The Hungarian soprano, Ingrid Kertesi, studied at the Franz Liszt Music Acadmy in Budapest, particularly with Erika Sziklay, and received in 1985 a scholarship for further training in Bayreuth. Then, since 1985 she has been a member of the National Opera Budapest, where she made her debut as Page Oscar in Verdi’s Ballo in maschera.
