Blue Green Orange is the third album by the Canadian alternative rock band I Mother Earth, released by Universal on July 13, 1999. The album featured covers in blue, green, or orange. The album was certified gold in Canada. The album, while still in the vein of the prior jam-oriented albums, was mellower and offered several twists. These included tribal rhythms, computerized loops, instrumental elements similar to modern indie rock, and the debut of Brian Byrne on lead vocals.

I Mother Earth, or IME, is a Canadian alternative rock band founded in 1991 in Toronto. They found moderate success in the mid-to-late 1990s. After touring for their most successful album, Scenery and Fish, lead singer Edwin left the band. In interviews, founding brothers Christian and Jagori Tanna claimed that they had always written the music and lyrics themselves, and that Edwin was merely a hired singer.
