On single "Red Lights", Holy Fuck proves that funked-up basslines and a bit of upbeat stomp can go all the way. Swirling in light a sonic helicopter on fire, this single comes straight out of a 70s disco, all glammed up with shuffling beats. On this instrumental piece, Holy Fuck seems to be aiming at writing the perfect theme tune to: 1. the new A-team movie, or 2. some sort of sleazy 70s porn flick. Both prospects sound utterly intriguing, as does the tune itself. The overall atmosphere of this single is positively buoyant with a tastily dissonant disco party mood.
