Zaragoza, Spain (1985 – 1997)

One of the international rock bands that have stirred up a lot of passion, has a history of four studio albums, three bootlegs, one album of rarities and two ‘best of’s, and the force of their concerts. After each singing (Enrique Bunbury, Pedro Andreu, Joaquín Cardiel, Juan Valdivia) in different groups, with different ambitions and dreams, in 1985 they started Héroes del Silencio. They made their debut in ‘86, at “Fiestas del Pilar” (Zaragoza), and a year later they signed their album contract. At the beginning of ‘88 they released their first album, Héroe De Leyenda, an EP.

The first LP, El Mar No Cesa, was released in 1989.

In 1991 they recorded Senderos De Traición, which sold more than half a million copies.

A more recent album El Espíritu del Vino (1993), showed us the experienced face of the band, with more powerful, more explicit and also more positive and less gothic and ambiguous lyrics.

In 1995 they went to England to record Avalancha. They had a 3-month tour, with more than 60 concerts in Italy, Hungry, Austria, Holland, England, Finland, Switzerland, Denmark etc, and Latin America (Mexico, Argentina, Chile).

In 1997 they broke up, only to come back ten years later with a 10-concert tour in Europe and America, and a new live disc set, both DVD bootleg and CD with higlights of the Tour.
