Written by Axl Rose, Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, it was originally titled 'Silkworms' and played at each of the four 2001 concerts (including at Rock In Rio III). A stripped down re-recording from 2006 was leaked on June 8 2018, and the original synth-based version from 2000 was leaked on September 7 2019. The live version contains a chorus that was never recorded in the studio, hence the word "absurd" was sampled and repeated throughout.
