Giovanni Giacomo Arrigoni (1597-1675) was an Italian composer, primarily of Church music. Until recently little was known of Arrigoni's life, but more details have begun to emerge, including his dates of birth and death, and his place of birth, S. Vito al Tagliamento in what is now the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. He was engaged as organist at the imperial court in Vienna in the 1630s, and later worked in veniuce, but gained his highest position and honours in his home town, where he became organist in 1648 and chapel master in 1663.
