It was written by Ivan Matias, Andrea Martin, and Marqueze Etheridge, and produced by Organized Noize for the Set It Off (Music from the New Line Cinema Motion Picture) soundtrack, later also included on the group's third studio album EV3. The song was the last release to feature member Dawn Robinson, who left the group the next year.
