"Maroubra Bay" was released on the album "Epsilon in Malaysian Pale" in 1975 on Virgin Records. In 2004 Edgar Froese re-recorded the album on his own label Eastgate. On 13th April 2008 "Maroubra Bay" was played live for the first time ever. This happened on the E-DAY Festival in Eindhoven,Holland. Edgar Froese played his solo material for the first and maybe the last time. A DVD was filmed for this occasion, and is called "The Epsilon Journey".

Edgar Froese (born Edgar Wilmar Froese on 6 June 1944; died 20 January 2015) was a German musical artist and electronic music pioneer, best known for founding the electronic music group Tangerine Dream in 1967.
