Young and Good Looking is a great record! I just happen to think the ones I mentioned are a tadbetter. But like I said, almost everything they've released is well worth your time.

People who write this band (well, Blag, really, since he's always written the majority of the material and has been the only really consistent member for a while now) off as just shock artists or a joke are missing out on one of the smartest, most consistent Punk/Hardcore Punk songwriting acts of all time. Beneath all the obscenities and crazy cover art lies some of the hookiest, catchiest material you'll ever find from a Punk band. Great riffs, killer vocal hooks... the Dwarves have it all. The stuff on Lick It, Blood Guts & Pussy, Sugarfix and Thank Heaven for Little Girls is the cream of the crop, with the Free Cocaine compilation, Young and Good Looking and Come Clean just a notch below. Pretty much everything released under the Dwarves moniker is worth your time, though. Start here, then move on to the rest of the stuff I mentioned.

I would move Young and Good Looking up to the top tier at this point. The stuff from Free Cocaine (most of it originally released as Toolin' for a Warm Teabag and the Lucifer's Crank EP) is largely on that level too but there's also a substantial portion where it's evident they've not totally adjusted to life as a Hardcore Punk band and the melodies aren't quite there yet.
