Black Clouds & Silver Linings was released June 23rd, 2009. It is the 10th studio album by Dream Theater and was produced by Mike Portnoy (the drummer) and John Petrucci (the guitarist). Every song on the album is about a personal experience of some member of the band, with the exception of the song A Rite of Passage.
