Push Ups is the diss track with Drake responding to various beefs, namely his conflicts with Kendrick Lamar and Metro Boomin that were notably escalated in March-April 2024 through several songs (e.g. “Like That”, “Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana)”, “All To Myself”, “Show of Hands”) across WE DON’T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU, Metro and Future’s duology of collaborative albums.
The track was initially previewed on April 13, 2024. On the same day, a teaser billboard from Spotify teases a new song from Drake that seemingly ties with the diss track, Drake would later release the song on April 19, 2024
