Country legends Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette teamed up in 1993 to record an album as a trio. The album, entitled Honky Tonk Angels and credited to 'Loretta Dolly Tammy' on its front cover, was produced by Owen Bradley and featured one charting single, 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles', which peaked at #68 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Despite very little support in mainstream country music, the album has been certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 copies.
