The Last Kind Words is the third studio album by DevilDriver, released in the United States on July 31, 2007. It was released in the United Kingdom on June 19. This is the first album to feature DevilDriver's melodic death metal influence by using melodic death-like leads on the guitar in some songs, and they make frequent use of guitar solos throughout the album. The album debuted at number 48 on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling about 14,000 copies in its first week.

DevilDriver is a groove metal band from California, United States that formed in 2002. The group was started by Dez Fafara, formerly of the band Coal Chamber, as a result of frustrations stemming from the more mainstream direction his former band mates were attempting to take their music.
