Denai Moore was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. When she was 10, Moore and her family relocated to Stratford, East London and she got her first guitar. After the song Flaws surfaced in 2012 through Hardlivings, Denai's first full release was 'Saudade' EP (including Wolves and Gone on Because Music. It was followed by The Lake EP in November 2013. A year later, I swore and Feeling were released, as well as a collaboration with SBTRKT on The Light.
