Demir Demirkan, a Turkish rock musician and producer, was born on August 12, 1972 in Adana, Turkey. He spent his childhood there, and later moved to Ankara to pursue his higher studies at Bilkent University. He joined the very successful heavy metal band Pentagram (known internationally as
